WHO'S YOUR? is the curated black book of the best in their business.

Publicity and Communications Manager of MTV and one half of The Faders
As a publicist for MTV, immersing oneself in the best new tracks and hanging out with rock stars is all part of the job. So you could say hitting the decks as a DJ came totally naturally to Milly, who’s also now one half of Sydney’s DJ duo The Faders.

Bringing their love of R ‘n’ B and hip-hop to d-floors around Australia, they’re now regulars at The Club, Soho, The Vintage (Kit & Kaboodle) and Ruby Rabbit to name a few.

Home is?
North Bondi, Sydney

What do you do?
I am the Publicity and Communications Manager of MTV and one half of The Faders (

You’re an expert in?
I’d probably say music! And food, I’m a typical wog!

What do you do in your downtime?
Downtime – what is that exactly? I think I’ve been home for about 5 weekends this year so far! Between MTV and DJing, I don’t get much time to myself.

What’s your favourite outfit?
I’m all about comfort so I’d say jeans, a tshirt and a pair of Nike SB Stefan Janoski shoes. I’m partial to an awesome pair of heels too but wearing them has become a distant memory since breaking my leg a few years back.

What’s Sydney’s best kept secret?
My balcony! I live in Ben Buckler, North Bondi, with my apartment facing onto the ocean. It’s like I pretty much live on the end of the earth – the view is amazing and I can sit there for hours staring at it.

Who’s your favourite celebrity?
Lil Wayne. He is such a legend and the one person I ‘m dying to meet most out of anyone.

You (and the mtv crew) throw epic parties. So who’s on your personal party playlist?
We’re not bad at it, are we? ? Old School hip hop and rnb. I especially love anything from the late 90’s and early 2000’s like Mark Morrison, Montell Jordan, PDiddy, Fresh Prince, Ashanti, Ja Rule, etc.

What inspired you to start dj-ing?
To be honest, it’s not something I ever thought about doing but just kinda fell into! It started when a friend asked us to play at a night he was putting on and before we knew it, we were playing for Wu Tang, Good Charlotte, Lil Jon and Blackstreet, opening for N.E.RD, playing festivals around Australia and even producing the music for the national Crusty Demons tour! It’s been such an amazing whirlwind of a ride and I love it more each time I play.

  • A-Trak, Anna Lunoe and the late, great DJ AM. Lil Jon's son is also pretty amazing. DJ Young Slade - his mix tape is off the hook!
