In between blogging and style watching, this women’s magazine veteran and one-time CLEO Editor has made the transition to online with her daily fashion destination, Coco Lee.

Together with her sister, she’s mastered the domain, hosting swaps (‘Fashion Marketplace’), pop-up sales and page after page of personal-styling tips. In between blogging and style watching, she’s had a weekly celeb gossip segment on 2DayFM, was a panelist on Beauty and the Beast, a guest judge on Australia’s Next Top Model and is a familiar face over at Channel V. We eagerly await the release of her first book, but until then, you can catch what she has to say here.

What do you do?
I’m the director of, an online fashion sales site which sells designer clothes at 50-80% off retail, with a daily celebrity stylewatch blog and a fashion marketplace for members to buy/swap/sell their own stuff.

You’re an expert in?
Finding fashion to flatter every body and every budget.

You’re passionate about?
The environment, the poor way we treat refugees and the sad state of commercial news in this country.

What’s your mantra?
Never blindly follow fashion! Choose what suits you, not the trend of the moment which can only suit a 5”11 skinny model.

Are you a PC or a Mac girl?
Mac, most definitely. Once you get a Mac you don’t go back!

What’s your latest must-have?
I’m currently living in Friend of Mine ankle boots with silver buckles.

Who’s your favourite fashion blogger?
Besides me? Oracle Fox.

Who’s your favourite designer?
I wear a lot of Natasha, Alice McCall, Yeojin Bae, Shakuhachi, Woodford & Co, Dion Lee, Josh Goot – labels we have on CocoLee! For international designers, it would have to be Proenza Schouler, Zac Posen, Alice + Olivia, Chloe, Chanel, Alexander Wang.

Who’s your mentor?
Now that I’ve moved into the online arena, it would have to be Natalie Massenet of Net-a-porter.

What are your top three styling tips?
- Invest in a good bra and always check for a visible panty line which can ruin the best outfit in the world.
- If you’re pear shaped with a tiny waist, a structured, a-line ballerina shaped skirt will do wonders for your figure.
- Don’t wear this season’s sheer trend if you’re not body confident.

  • You are known for your online discount site cocoloee, so who's your internet provider?
  • We've just moved to Internode and haven't had a single problem, unlike Telstra/Bigpond where we would have issues once a month!
