What do you do?
I am a qualified Industrial Designer & Interior Designer but as it has turned out I am a designer of just about everything!
Go to for great basics?
Acne, Bassike & Splendid.
Recently I purchased an incredible emerald green Lanvin dress and a Sass & Bide fully beaded cape from their Gallery collection…so naughty!
What are some of your favourite websites and design magazines?
Elle Décor Italia, Frame magazine, Abitare & Interni during Milan Design Week and of course, Share Design for all design inspiration.
How would you describe your design aesthetic?
My days at Ford Motor Company (twelve years) as a car designer really shaped who I am and what inspires me as a designer. Classic, lasting and finally, appropriate, with a touch of high-end fashion.
Why did you set up Share Design? Did something specifically prompt you?
As a designer I was often asked, “what’s the best shade of white?”, “where do I find…?” or “any ideas on a tap?” It got me thinking about how I could share my years of experience and make good design available to everybody. This lead to the launch of Share Design – a curated resource for home and interiors covering everything from tiles to taps, colour palettes, finishes and fixtures. It’s my way of sharing beautiful products, spaces and styles and where you can buy.
Tell us three exciting things you might be doing in the next five years.
Travelling more and building a new home. A project as big as this gives me an opportunity to challenge my design skills from the building design through to the interiors
