What do you do?
I am the Director of Studio PP, a luxe fitness space in Melbourne’s South Yarra offering everything from Pilates to boxing, nutrition and massage through to reformer, barre and yoga.

What are your handbag essentials?
I always need music playing so my iPhone and headphones are essentials! I have to have it playing in my car or whilst I’m out walking or running around. I also run my business remotely some of the time so I always need my laptop- it might not quite fit in my handbag, but it goes everywhere with me! Beauty wise, its BBcream and bronzer for daily touch ups, as well as Lukas’s Paw Paw cream (my daily addiction!)

Favourite healthy snack on the go?
Bliss balls or activated nuts for protein and to keep me fueled; and a green juice from Green Cup or Greene St. Juice for a daily cleanse and inflammation fix!

Guilty pleasure?
Popcorn- I just love it. I like DIY-ing at home, there’s something about the smell, the taste and texture! It’s my absolute go to in front of the TV!

Favourite brand of workout gear, and why?
I have a few! For bootcamps and lifestyle wear, I opt for Cotton On Body, while Lululemon is perfect for functionality and Pilates (both practicing and teaching). The Upside is perfect because of the prints, they all suit different purposes and are fabulous combined!

As an ex-Olympic snowboarder, how has your outlook on fitness and health changed since becoming a Pilates and fitness coach?
My career ending accident in 2010 was what changed my mindset. Physically and mentally, I had to adjust. My whole approach to health and fitness is more holistic now and more nurturing instead of killing myself like I did as a professional athlete. I think we can all learn to find that right balance.

You’ve just launched Studio PP – an uber stylish health destination for pilates, yoga, barre, boot camp, boxing and personal training with the addition of an in-house nutritionist and massage therapist – congrats! What’s been the biggest learning experience in making your dream a reality?
You just have to back yourself 110%. If you operate from a strong value system and you practice what you preach it will all work out in the end. You don’t want to be standing at the top of an Olympic course wishing you had worked harder?! It’s insanity. I take the same approach to my business.

You’re still a snow bunny, snowboarding recreationally. What is your favourite snow slope?
Snowboarding is still my favourite thing ever. Although I missed it competitively for years, I’ve learned to love it even more recreationally! No pressure… just me and the mountains, it’s thrilling. My hubby is Austrian so going to the mountain and riding together will always be part of our life. In Australia my favourite mountain is Mt Buller – I love Chamois on a powder day and Little Buller Spur for love laps with my friends and family. Kicking Horse in Canada is my favourite resort in the world.

What does your daily beauty routine consist of?
I use Organic moisturiser with SPF 15+ and Arbonne CC cream, MAC bronzer and mascara. Simple, but effective!

You’ve travelled the world for both business and pleasure, what’s your favourite airline and why?
Qantas for domestic and Qatar for international- their flight paths are short and direct and the service and lounges are amazing.

What’s unique about the ‘PP Method’?
It’s ageless and for any ‘body’. People see results and have better maintenance plans for their bodies because it’s a combination of all fitness types performed with function and form, using Pilates at the core of all movement. It’s challenging but we keep it FUN.

What can’t you live without?
Friends, family, pancakes, humour and a cheeky glass of pinot.
